MacMurray Pinot Gris Review

Disclosure - free sample provided.

I am so excited to share this next wine with you.  MacMurray Estate Vineyard is located in the Russian River Valley.  I have tried a number of their wines, but fell in love with their 2013 Russian River Valley Pinot Gris.  The MacMurray Ranch is known for their award winning Pinot Noir, but they offer a wonderful selection of other wines too.  Have you tried any of these?  I would love to know what you think.

I opened a bottle of the MacMurray Estate Vineyards Pinot Gris on a really warm day.  I served it chilled and super cold.  This wine was so good.  I honestly told my husband that it was one of my new favorite white wines.  This is a dry and crisp white.  It has a fruitiness to it.  The wine is dry, but it is easy to drink and very smooth.  I was truly impressed.  This wine is made completely with Pinot Gris grapes.  The bottle retails for about $20.  It would be the perfect addition to any Summer bbq or picnic.  It would also make an excellent hostess gift.  I would love to know how you would pair this wine.  We served it with bbq'd chicken.  It was great!

You can visit the MacMurray Estate Vineyards website to learn more about their excellent wines.
