What's in my Wine Glass? Brancaia 2011 TRE Rosso Toscano Review

Disclosure - free sample provided.

What's in my wine glass?

I want to share with you a wonderful wine from Italy.  This is a red wine.  Brancaia 2011 TRE Toscano is a red blend.  It is a dry red that is full bodied.  This wine blends Sangiovesse Merlot, and Cabernet Grapes.  This is a wonderful full flavored red.  I opened the bottle and found that letting it breath for about 15 minutes was perfect.  The wine is perfect with your red sauced Italian style dishes too!  We served it with pasta with red sauce, and Italian sausage.  It really paired well.  This wine retails for about $23 a bottle.

About the winery. . .
This is a Tuscan winery.  It has been there for more than 30 years.  This is an impressive 32 acre vineyard.  The winemaker is Barbara Widmer.  She is passionate about wine making.  You really can tell just from the first sip of one of her excellent wines.

You can learn more about about the Brancaia Winery by visiting their website.  You can also connect with them on Facebook.
