Beautiful Moon - A Child's Prayer - Book Review

Disclosure - free sample provided.

Reading is something I enjoy doing.  It is something I have tried to teach my children to enjoy too.  My children are 7 and 9, and they both enjoy reading.  We read together, but they also read independently.  We try and read books that have good content and teach them good morals.  Do you have a favorite book that you read with your child?

I want to introduce you to Beautiful Moon - A Child's Prayer.  This is a beautiful children's book written by Tonya Bolden and illustrated by Eric Velasquez.  The author has written titles such as   Capital Days, Tell all the Story to our Children, Emancipation Proclamation, and more. This book is a great story about a young boy that wakes in the middle of the night.  He realizes that he did not say his prayers before bedtime.  He looks out at the beautiful moon and says a wonderful prayer for those that are in need.  The story is heart warming.  I think it is a wonderful story that teaches young children the importance of thinking about others too!

This book will be available for purchase on the 4th of November.  You can visit Abrams Books to learn more about ordering.  This book will retail for $16.95.

Disclosure - I received a free sample to facilitate my review.  No monetary compensation was provided.  All opinions are completely my own.  My participation is voluntary.   I am disclosing in accordance with FTC 16 CFR Part 255.
