Disclosure - free sample provided.

I have been in the kitchen again creating recipes with Del Real Foods products.  Del Real offers so many great items that are quick and delicious.  Many of their meats can be used to create magnificent dishes.  They are versatile and can be used in many different ways.  I created a tasty appetizer with their shredded chicken.  These Balsamic Slaw Topped Barbecue Chicken Sliders are an easy crowd pleasing dish!

Balsamic Slaw Topped Barbecue Chicken Sliders Appetizer . . . .

Del Real Shredded Chicken

1 bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce

1 package of small dinner rolls - sliced in half

1 package of shredded cole slaw mix

1 TB. balsamic vinegar

1 TB.  ketchup

1 cup mayonnaise

1 TB. butter or margarine

salt and pepper

Slice your dinner rolls in half and set them aside.

Take 1/2 of the package of cole slaw mix and put it in the bowl.  Mix 1 cup mayonnaise with the 1 TB. ketchup and 1 TB. balsamic vinegar in another bowl.  Season it with salt and pepper.  Add the mayonnaise mixture to the cole slaw mix and stir.  Set aside.

Warm the Del Real Shredded Chicken according to the package instructions.  Drain the liquid from the chicken.  Stir in 1 cup of your favorite barbecue sauce.  Set aside.

Add butter or margarine to a large pan.  Grill the sliced dinner rolls in the butter/margarine face down until browned.

Assemble your sliders . . .

Place the barbecue chicken mixture on the dinner roll.  Then top it with the cole slaw.
