Fresh fruit always makes me think of Summertime. Melissa's sent me a wonderful selection of delicious fruit. Melissa's Produce offers a variety of fruits that my kids just love. They have peaches and nectarines. These are super juicy and sweet. They are a great addition to any meal, or great for a healthy snack. Melissa's Organic Plum bites are also great. These are juicy little black plums. My kids loved them. Their red plums are so good too. These can be eaten fresh, but you can also find recipes on their website on how to incorporate these into tasty dishes. Melissa's sent me some of their finger limes. These are tiny little limes that are loaded with flavor. These are the perfect addition to your favorite Summer beer. They are the perfect little size to pop right into your bottle of beer. These limes are also very good added to a nice glass of ice water. My kids loved them in their water, and this was a great way to get them to drink some extra water. We also enjoyed the kumquats that Melissa's offers. These are sweet and sour, and so delicious.
Melissa's also offers a variety of fresh Summer veggies. I received some of their red corn. This corn is beautiful and so impressive looking. This corn has a similar taste to sweet corn. It is excellent steamed or even grilled. How would you serve it?
