The Looney Experiment by Luke Reynolds - Review

Disclosure - free sample provided.

Are you looking for a great read for your young teenager?  The Looney Experiment is a great book for teens that are about 11-14 years old.  This is a book that is perfect for your teen if they love boy books that are humorous.  The book is about Atticus Hobart and how he wants to survive middle school.  This book was perfect for my son because he just started middle school this year.  There are so many challenges that this book touches on.

Atticus Hobart is a likable character in the book that really makes it easy for children to relate to him, and what he is going through.  Atticus deals with his first crush in his book.  It talks about how he handles trying to talk to her.  The book also talks about bullying, and much more.

Atticus ends up with a 77 year old English teacher.  He has very interesting and unique teaching methods.  Atticus then realizes more about Mr. Looney, his English teacher.  His teaching methods help him understand more about himself.

I would definitely recommend this book.  It teaches great lessons, but it does so in a great humorous manner.
