Things that Matter by Charles Krauthammer

Disclosure - free sample provided.

I am very interested in politics, and what is going on in the world.  I am a big fan of Charles Krauthammer, so I was very excited to receive a copy of his book titled Things that Matter.  Krauthammer is a Pulitzer Prize Winner.  This is a #1 New York Times Bestseller, and over one million copies have been sold.  The book discusses three decades of passions, pastimes, and politics.  This is a great read if you are a conservative.

This book starts out with some great information on Charles Krauthammer.  He really is a very interesting man.  I was intrigued by the fact that he did not start out as a columnist.  Did you know that he is also a physician?  You might be familiar with Krauthammer if you watch Fox News.

This book is a very interesting read.  Krauthammer touches on so many things in this book.  He discusses things that matter.  What does this mean though?  To him it means a number of things, but mostly things that are morally and ethically right.  What matters to everyone is different, of course.  This book is loaded with information that explains why the country is the way it is now, and how it got to be like this.  He often uses his personal experiences to explain things.  Krauthammer discusses leaders like Clinton, Reagan, and Obama.  My personal favorite part in the book is the epilogue because it touches on how Obama is running this country.

You can learn more about this book here.  This truly is an interesting read if you want to learn more about Krauthammer's insights on politics.

I received this book from Blogging for Books for this review.
