It can sometimes be a challenge to find books to teach children about religion that are written at the right level for them. What are some of your favorite Christian books for kids? I was recently introduced to Big Dreams, Big Prayers Bible for Kids. This is a bible geared towards children. It is the New International Version of the bible. However, there are some additions to it that make it appeal to children. I have a 9, and almost 11 year old. I thought this was a great version for them.
This bible has both the new and old testament in it. The table of contents makes it easy for children to find exactly what they are looking for, and on what page. This is a great bible to have on hand, and on your bookshelf. Throughout the pages are devotions. These pages are an added bonus that my kids really enjoyed. These "Big Dreams" pages explain to children the verses in easy to understand terms. I love this. It really helps children to relate to what the bible is saying, but in language that they relate to.
This bible would make a great gift with Easter coming up too! You can learn more about the Big Dreams, Big Prayers Bible for Kids here.
The Big Dreams, Big Prayers Bible for Kids, NIV includes the complete New International Version (NIV) of the Bible along with devotions, prayers, and highlighted verses to help kids pray and listen for God’s answers to their prayers.
