I have always been a big fan of anything Little Mermaid. My daughter and I were very excited when we received a copy of the new book, Poor Unfortunate Soul. This book is the third and final novel in the Villains trilogy. The first two books were Fairest of All and Beast Within. These books are great if your child loves to read about the villains from Disney stories and movies.
We fell in love with the front cover of Poor Unfortunate Soul. It has a fun picture of Ursula right on the front. My 4th grader really enjoyed reading this book to me. This book follows Ursula, and explains more in depth as to why she is so evil.
The book is written by Serena Valentino. She is well known for her comic books and graphic novels. She has done an excellent job making this book fun, and exciting for kids!
