Collage Video Review and #Giveaway 8/7 - 2 BIlly Blanks DVDs - Tae Bo CLOSED

I haven't always been into fitness.  I had a really hard time losing weight after I had my daughter and started working out to shed some weight.  I started working out when she was 2.  She's now 5 and I have kept off about 40 pounds by working out at home.  I found out about Collage Video and was really excited because they have an enormous selection of workout videos.  They have workout videos at every level and they have so many instructors to choose from too.  They have something to please pretty much anyone.  What is your favorite type of workout video to do?  I chose 2 different Billy Blanks workouts from Collage Video to try out.  I am a longtime fan of Billy Blanks and have used many of his other workouts previously.  I received Billy Blanks' Tae Bo Ripped Extreme and Billy Blanks' Tae Bo Insane Abs.

I first did the Tae Bo Insane Abs workout video.  This is a great workout.  It really works your abs.  It truly is INSANE.  I love it though.  I really enjoy a challenging ab workout.  This is it.  Although it was hard, it wasn't impossible.  I love pushing myself and this video does that.  I really love this video because Billy Blanks is really motivating.  He pushes you to continue the workout when you think it's quitting time.  The best part about this ab workout is that part of it is done standing up!  I personally am not a fan of ab work on the floor, so this video is awesome.  More than half of it is done with things like waist twists and punching.  I personally love the punching and think it's quite fun!  You would truly be surprised at how well this works your abs.  This is an intermediate level workout, but if you are a beginner you could still do it and break it into 2 days.  This is going to be a workout video that I am going to incorporate into my workout schedule weekly.  The retail price on this video is about $14.99, but it can be purchased for $9.99 from the Collage Video website.

Next, I did the Tae Bo Ripped Extreme.  This is an intermediate level workout.  It is pretty intense and it is truly extreme like the title says.  I loved it!  Although it is extreme, it can be done!  I was able to get through it and felt like I got an awesome workout.  If you are a beginner you can take it slower and try it maybe in 2 days.  I liked that the beginning part of this workout is aerobic.  It's really fun to do because it's kickboxing.   It is honestly too much fun and packed with great punches and kicks.  Billy Blanks does a wonderful job motivating in this video too.  He pushes you to the extreme and helps you make it through to the end!  The second half of the workout is done with weights, so it's great for toning.  You can use weights anywhere from 2 to 5 pounds to do this portion of the workout.  I used 2 pound weights to start out and I really felt it afterwards.  I felt like I truly got a good workout when I was done.  This is another workout video that I will be adding to my weekly workout schedule!  You can purchase this great workout video from the Collage Video website for $9.99.  This video normally retails for $14.99, so this is a great price.
