Skinny Pop Popcorn Review

I'm sure many of you have heard me say that I love to snack.  I am always on the lookout though for snacks that are healthy options.  I found out about Skinny Pop Popcorn and was really interested in trying it.  I'm sure many of you have maybe seen it in the stores recently and wondered how it was.  Well I'm going to tell you!

I received some sample bags of Skinny Pop Popcorn to try.  My son is a popcorn lover, so of course he insisted that we open it immediately.  I love that he enjoys popcorn because it's a whole grain, but sometimes popcorn can be loaded with lots of salt and fat.  Skinny Pop is a bit different than your "typical" popcorn.  It's not movie theater popcorn though.  It definitely tastes good, but they call it guilt free!  Skinny Pop is cholesterol free and has no trans fats.  It's only 39 calories per cup.  It's pretty low in sodium and it only contains 90 mg per serving.   I am the kind of person that always looks at ingredients, so that's what I did.  I was shocked when the ingredient list on this popcorn consisted of  popcorn, sunflower oil and salt.  That's pretty simple, but the popcorn itself tastes really good.  My 7 year old popcorn lover gave it a thumbs up too.

Skinny Pop Popcorn is a snack that I feel good about giving to my family.  I love that it contains nothing artificial.  It is nut free, dairy free, gluten free, preservative free and a good source of fiber.  It is also made in the USA.  You can use the Skinny Pop product locator to find out where you can get Skinny Pop Popcorn near you.  You can also connect with Skinny Pop Popcorn on their website and Facebook.
