Aroma Rice Cooker Review

My family absolutely loves rice.  My 7 year old would eat rice at every meal if I allowed him.  My husband loves it so much that he buys it in bulk bags of about 20 lbs each.  I just wanted you to get an idea of how much rice we eat.

A good rice cooker is very important to me.  I stopped cooking rice on the stove top years ago because there is too much baby sitting that goes along with it.  If you aren't familiar with how a rice cooker works it's pretty neat.  I love that you can just put in your rice and water and you end up with perfect rice.

Aroma offers a variety of great rice cookers to suit all different types of cooks.  I received a wonderful model to try out that makes up to 20 cups of rice.  This is a digital display rice cooker and it makes it really easy to set and cook.  You can purchase this Aroma Rice Cooker for $64.99 directly from their website.  This is not just a rice cooker though.  It is much more and I love that it has some wonderful extra features.  This rice cooker allows you to choose whether you want to cook white or brown rice with just the touch of a button.  If you have a rice cooker and have tried cooking brown rice you may have had some issues with it cooking correctly.  I love that my Aroma Rice Cooker can adjust to the type of rice in the unit with just the touch of a button.  Ok so maybe you have a rice cooker and all it does is cook rice, but this one cooks other items besides rice too.  This also doubles as a steamer and slow cooker too!  I love it.  I think it is so neat that I can perfectly steam veggies or slow cook a roast with ease.  There is one last option that I absolutely love.  You can set your rice up in the morning and put the delay timer on, so it will be ready later in the day.  This makes cooking dinner super easy.  I also like that the instructions are super easy that it doesn't make it confusing to use the unit.

What did I think?  I love it.  It does a perfect job cooking rice.  I am super picky about my rice being cooked to perfection.  The Aroma Rice Cooker did a wonderful job cooking it exactly how I like it.  I tested both sticky sushi rice and a longer grain rice and it did excellent cooking both varieties.  I am definitely going to get my use out of my Aroma Rice Cooker.  I am certain that I will be using it a few times a week.  I am so excited to try out the additional features some more too!  What would you try cooking in the Aroma Rice Cooker?
