Dr. Praeger's Healthy Meals Review

Dr. Praeger's offers healthy meals that are quick and delicious.  They offer products that are meatless and still are delicious.  They do offer some products like fish sticks though.  I am not a vegetarian, but I love when I can find healthy and light meal options.  I don't always want to eat something that is heavy and rich.  D. Praeger's is perfect for that.

Dr. Praeger's offers a nice selection of products that can be found in the freezer section.  I found them at my local grocery store in the frozen health food section.  I was really interested in all of the neat varieties.  I love that just because the products don't have meat they don't lack flavor.  They offer spinach pancakes, potato pancakes, broccoli pancakes, sweet potato pancakes, fish sticks and more.  I even noticed that they offer of meatless burger type options too.

I decided to choose the broccoli pancakes.  These were really simple to cook too.  They can either be cooked in the oven or under the broiler.  I was impressed with how low in calories they are.  One of the broccoli pancakes only has 80 calories.  These are great for a light meal or a healthy snack.  I want to say I was really impressed with the flavor on the Dr. Praeger's broccoli pancakes.  I feel like you can really eat these as a meal and not feel like you are missing out on anything.  I know that sometimes when are eating light or healthy that can happen.  These are really great to keep around too when you don't know what to eat and you need something that is quick.

Dr. Preager's was started by a cardiac surgeon.  They actually bought a company called Unger's Gefilte Fish.  It was the goal of two Dr.'s to help keep a family business from going under.  The neat part about this is that the Dr.'s also wanted to help introduce healthy food options.

You can learn more about all of the Dr. Praeger's products by visiting their website.  You can also purchase their products online.
