Rancho Zabaco 2011 Heritage Vines Zinfandel

Rancho Zabaco offers a selection of Zinfandel wines for the Zin connoisseur.  When people think of Zin I expect they are thinking of the pink wine that is popular.  However, that is not what Rancho Zabaco offers.  They offer wines that are unique and full of flavor.  These wines are amazing and I would call them Zinfandel experts.  Their goal is to create great wines with lots of wonderful flavor.  They have done an excellent job at that too!  They continue to try and make their wines better each time around.  Their wines come from the Sonoma region.

The 2011 Heritage Vines Zinfandel is impressive.  It has bold flavors.  It is a dark red wine.  It is not sweet, but it does have hints of fruitiness.  It's almost like a hint of berries.  The wine is smooth and loaded with flavor.  The wine has a tiny bit of Petite Sirah blended in with it.  It gives it a really great flavor too.  The wine is very robust.  The wine is aged in oak barrels.  This wine retails for about $18 a bottle.  This is a great wine to pair with cheeses, fruit and so much more.

This is just one of the Zins that Rancho Zabaco offers.  You can learn more about their wines by visiting their website.
