Mirassou Winery Review

Disclosure - free sample provided.

I was introduced to Mirassou Wines last year and was in love with them from the first time I tried them.  Mirassou is a California winery.  The family has been making wine for over 150 years.  The Mirassou family has actually been growing grapes in California since 1854.  Their wines are rich in history and full of flavor.  I received a selection of their white wines to try.  These are perfect for the hot Summer months.

This is a very light white wine.  It is slightly sweet and it is very fruity.  It is a great wine to serve at a party because it's very easy to drink. This white is said to have flavors of apple, peach and apricot.  It is very fresh tasting.  The 2012 California Riesling contains 98% Riesling grapes.  The grapes come from both the Central Coast and Russian River Valley.  This bottle retails for about $12.

This is another sweet white wine.  It is not super sweet though.  It is also very light and it's got a crisp taste.  It is an easy to drink wine.  This Moscato is said to have flavors of orange blossom, peach and pineapple.  It is definitely very fruity.  The grapes on this wine mostly come from Muscat Canelli, but some do come from San Luis Obispo County.  This refreshing wine also retails for about $12 a bottle.

This is also a crisp white wine, but it is much more dry.  It is not sweet.  It is also very light though.  It is fresh tasting too.  The wine does have some fruity notes too it.  It is said to have flavors from kiwi, passion fruit, Meyer lemon, and citrus blossom.  This is a very easy to drink dry white wine.  The grapes from this wine come from the Russian River Valley and Lodi Delta.  This wine also retails for about $12 a bottle.

These are just some of the great wines that Mirassou offers.  You can learn more about their wines by visiting their website.  You can also connect with them on Facebook.
