Turning Leaf Refresh Review

Disclosure - free sample provided.

I want to introduce you to some wines that are light, crisp, and bubbly.  Turning Leaf Refresh are some of the newest wines from Turning Leaf.  These are perfect when you want something very light and easy to drink.  They are really nice for entertaining too.  They are a all sweet wines.  These are best when they are served chilled.  They all retail for about $8 a bottle.  They are very reasonable priced.

The Turning Leaf Refresh Wines are available in 4 varieties.  I love that they offer a Crisp White, Red Moscato, Pink Moscato, and Moscato.  These are all excellent and it really depends on your taste and what you plan on pairing it with.  What variety would you want to try?

Turning Leaf Refresh Red Moscato
This is a red wine.  It's light, crisp, sweet, and bubbly.  It has a bit of a rich flavor because it is a red, but it is not intense.  It has a fruitiness to the wine.  I personally like this one as an after dinner wine.  Turning Leaf suggest pairing this with things like burgers or ribs.  This red is made with mostly Cabernet grapes.  The grapes come from the Alexander Valley for the most part.

Turning Leaf Refresh Crisp White
This is also a very light wine.  It is a sweet white.  It is also bubbly and refreshing.  This wine is said to have hints of fruitiness from things like apple and lemon.  I like this wine with poultry.  They suggest pairing it with roasted chicken or even pizza.
Turning Leaf Refresh Moscato

I really enjoyed this one.  It was one of my favorites.  It is hard to pick just one.  This one is also a white wine.  It is sweetened perfectly.  It is crisp and bubbly just like the other ones.  This one is said to have flavors from peach and orange blossom.  They suggest pairing this variety with spicy food.  I think it would do an excellent job putting out the zing from hot food.  It is also excellent as a dessert wine or with a cheese course.

Turning Leaf Pink Moscato
This is a beautiful pink wine that has a nice sweetness to it.  It is bubbly and fresh tasting.  It is said to have notes of cherry, pomegranate and mandarin oranges.  This is a versatile wine that can be paired with pretty much anything.  What would you drink it with?
