Louis M. Martini Cabernet Sauvignon Review

Disclosure - free sample provided.

I am a huge fan of a good dry red or dry white wine.  I usually favor a red.  Do you have a favorite dry red that you enjoy?  I love a good Cabernet Sauvignon.  My husband even enjoys a good glass of Cab every now and then.  I want to introduce you Louis M. Martini.  They offer some excellent Cabernet Sauvignons.  They have been doing this for over 75 years.  Pretty impressive!  These wines are perfect for entertaining.  They make a great gift for people that love a good Cab!  This would make a very nice gift for Father's Day too!

I received an impressive selection of Cabs from the Louis M. Martini Winery.  They were all excellent.  I cannot pick a favorite because they were all very good.  The 2011 Napa Cab is a wine that comes from grapes from both Napa and Sonoma.  This is a very rich dry red.  It actually has Petite Syrah and some other grape varieties blended into it too.  I think this has created a super smooth red.  This bottle retails for about $34.  The 2012 Sonoma Cab is also very good.  This wine is said to have flavors of black plum and spice.  This wine retails for about $20 a bottle.  The 2011 Alexander Valley Cab was wonderful.  I really liked this one quite a bit.  It was very smooth and flavorful.  This bottle retails for about $34.

Any of these excellent Cabs would make a great addition to any Father's Day meal.  I am coming up with ideas for pairings with it.  I think a nice cheese plate starter and some grilled fillet would be perfect.  What would you pair these with?
